My name is Mariska. I'm a designer from the Netherlands that creates cute quirky characters called Fluffels.
I've started Fluffels two years ago, a month after I got my first sewing machine. I bought it to make pillows and maybe clothes, but ended up making loads of plushes instead:)
I also make soft toy kits and patterns for people that want to create their own plush. Those are called DIY fluffies.
I graduated from the Utrecht school of Arts in the Netherlands. After my graduation I worked in the videogame industry as a 3d modeller for a few years, but decided to go full time with Fluffels last year. I got pregnant after one month and now I'm combining motherhood with Fluffels.
A new addition to Fluffels are jewelry designs that I started creating a few months ago. They are acrylic laser cut pendants. I think Acrylic is a perfect material for pendant because it is so strong, but still very light in weight.

I love Tumsy the bunny because it lifts my spirits! I love the whimsical flower tucked behind one ear. I have a sister who collects everything to do with bunnies and she would love it. Has widespread appeal to almost any age group. Sooooooooo cute!
Ohmygosh, I had hearted this exact necklace a little while back! It is of course my favorite in Mariska's shop ;) I also really like the other colors it's available in, the black and then the red kitty!

My favorite is the Toy Grabber Bear Necklace. My reaction to seeing the necklace when it loaded on the screen nearly gave my husband a heart attack from the sudden "OH MY GOODNESS THAT IS THE BEST NECKLACE EVER!!!"
My fav was Bruno the dog. He reminds me of the cartoon bulldog from tom and jerry. Very cute I might just have to get one of the fluffel patterns. The dragon is just awesome!
