An interview and giveaway with Hello Heath!

1. What inspires you to come up with new designs?
I draw inspiration from all kinds of sources, movies, music other artwork. Id say my biggest inspiration started with anime, when I was young it was still a very much underground genre. Now I get really inspired by fantasy movies and concepts, disney and other artists I keep in touch with online



2. How long have you been creating?

One of my first memories is me sitting in pre-K drawing a giant pink pig with a crayon. I used to draw pigs on everything!



3. Where do you do your work? Do you have a dedicated area of your home, or?

Most of my work is either done on my computer at home in our office or in front of the tv. But inspiration can come at any time. My boyfriend is also an artist and we have been spotted scribbling at dinner in restaurants in the past.



4. Tell us about a goal you have for your business

Right now my goal is to get m artwork out there in peoples homes, on their walls, on their computer screens, and in their hearts :-)



5. What is your favorite album?

Right now id say it's "elephants" by rachel yamagata



6. Where do you see yourself in 5 years?

In either california or london working as an animator or animation director.



7. What is your favorite thing to do on a weekend?

Cuddle with my boyfriend as we walk around downtown disney. One of our favorite places to get inspired. We also love seeing as many movies in theater as we can. when im by myself love to just draw or play with my wii.



8. Tell us about a new skill you'd like to learn

the art of caricature, i really think it will help me be able to get a better flow and expression in my work.
